I am an interdisciplinary artist working at the confluence of creating art to preserve and acquire knowledge of history. My art is a visual reference that helps me remember all the others who have paved the way for me to share their stories through my art. The work of the impressionist inspires me, which is why my art leans towards realism, impressionism, and portraiture. I am invested in preserving cultural information that invokes and ignites the inner being. My work is inspired by the desire to start conversations that teach and help us remember the rich information we can derive from our past. The goal is conservation, which shows our strength and reflects us as a people. I want to produce awe-inspiring work to connect us to our past, which explains our present and encourages our future.
