Soroptimist International of Joplin is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Sculpture for placement in the Rotary Clubs of Joplin Sculpture Garden, located in Mercy Park in Joplin, Missouri.
The Club is seeking a medium- to large-scale sculpture representative of the past, present, and future of Soroptimist International of Joplin. The sculpture shall be modern, unique, dynamic, accessible, and approachable highlighting mission, programs, and ideals of the Club.

A maximum of three digital images in jpeg format may be submitted for judging. Accepter mediums include oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, charcoal, pencil, photography, or a mixture of any of the above media. Find more information and submit at merriam.org/heartland.

Arts on Broadway invites you to apply for a juried exhibition in our distinct space in Midtown Kansas City, MO. This is a national art exhibition open to emerging, mid-career, or established artists. All media is welcome in our 2500 sq/ft space.

Details: Exhibitions are for one month. All work should be original and for sale. Group shows are eligible.Art must be wired on the back ready for hanging. 3-D objects will be displayed on pedestals. Video Artists: Arts on Broadway has 1 projector and monitor. If more is required, you are responsible for providing projectors and monitors. Work requiring special installation will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Artist is responsible for delivering their work at least 5 days before the exhibition opening. Art can be mailed or delivered in person (by appointment). Artist is responsible for roundtrip shipping including prepaid return label and insurance.
Sales: Arts on Broadway will receive a 25% commission on all sales. Prices submitted must include Arts on Broadway commission.If a piece of art sells during the month, the artist has the option of providing another piece to replace it.
COMMISSED PUBLIC ART INSTALLATION OF DOUBLE SIDED BILLBOARDS ABOVE 125 SOUTHWEST BOULEVARD
Charlotte Street is currently seeking submissions from local artists who want their work considered for the Crossroads Artboards 2024-2025. Since 2008, 106 Kansas City based artists or collectives have been selected for their commissioned Artboards. The Artboards are exterior, double-sided billboards at 125 Southwest Boulevard. From April 2024 through March 2025, new, commissioned images by Kansas City area artists will be presented and rotated approximately every three months. The deadline for submissions is Monday, January 8, 2024.

Monson Arts’ residency program supports emerging and established artists and writers by providing them time and space to devote to their creative practices. During each of our 2-week and 4-week programs throughout the year, a cohort of 5 artists and 5 writers are invited to immerse themselves in small town life at the edge of Maine’s North Woods and focus intensely on their work within a creative and inspiring environment. They receive a private studio, private bedroom in shared housing, all meals, and $1,000 stipend ($500 for 2-week programs)
